Chicago Chiro Talks Posture

In this quick video Dr. Bourdage, your local Chicago Chiro Talks Posture.

Posture is so much more than how we look. It’s how the world sees us, how our body functions, and most importantly the signals you are giving to your nervous system. Are you training your nervous system to be in a defensive state or in a growth state. Watch the video above to learn more about how posture affects your nervous system.

If you would like help with improving your posture and overall health give us a call at 773-545-9379. Dr. Bourdage loves helping people improve posture. We are located in the Sauganash neighborhood of Chicago on the Northwest side.

Chicago Chiropractor Plank Challenge

Chicago Chiropractor Plank Challenge

We are now at Day 20, which means if you have been keeping up with our challenge you are holding a 2.5 minute plank! Research shows that a 2 minute plank will decrease your chances of suffering from lower back pain exponentially. A stronger core not only helps you to avoid pain, it gives your spine more support and helps to support the adjustments you receive here at our office.

Keep up the good work, we are nearing the end of this month long challenge and at the end we will be raffling off a fitbit to one lucky practice member who finished the challenge. In reality though, everyone is a winner!

Here is an updated video tip for those of you partaking in our plank challenge! If you are having any struggles or questions with the challenge please feel free to ask.

Remember, planks are a great way to strengthen your core. A stronger core will help you to maintain good spinal health. The reason our spine subluxates, or goes out of alignment is because the muscles are not giving enough support to adapt to the everyday stresses we face. All these planks are designed to help you and support your adjustments better!
